Birmingham rolling along, as usual

For one moment the Taft-Birmingham game was surprising.

Taft drove 73 yards for a touchdown on the game’s opening possession. It was the first touchdown Birmingham had given up in the last 13 quarters.

After that, however, it’s been all Patriots. Milton Knox rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Exavier Johnson passed for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

Birmingham leads, 28-7, and Taft may need a running clock in the second half.
