Diablos overtake Tesoro in third quarter

Harold Williams hasn’t done much wrong tonight for Tesoro, but while playing DB, that Diablos’ pass that hit him in the numbers and fell to the ground is gonna give him a headache if the Titans don’t win this game. Two plays later, Nathan Casey kicked a 20-yard field goal for a 16-14 Mission Viejo lead with 48 seconds left in the third quarter.

Tesoro goes four and out, and Mission Viejo got the ball at the Titans’ 45. Four plays later, Craig Woods ran into the end zone from 13, and a two point pass play gives the Diablos a 24-14 lead with 10:31 to go.

I like Mission Viejo’s chances to hang on.
