Servite gets smart, gets closer

After feeding the ball to D.J. Shoemate on what seemed like every play in the first half, Servite is distributing the ball to other players. The adjustment has resulted in two touchdowns in the second half.

As one Mater Dei parent said, ‘It’s about time Servite got smart.’

Monarchs still lead, 21-13 after the Friars missed their point-after kick.
