The coin flip to determine the order of playoff entry from the South Coast League into the Pac-5 playoffs took a fortuitous turn for Mission Viejo, which had its seven-year league championship streak end on Friday night with a loss to visiting Tesoro.

But Mission Viejo came back Saturday morning to win a coin flip, and will go into the playoffs as the league’s second-place team. San Clemente will be third.
