In the past few weeks, Valencia RB Jordan Thompson and WR Stephen London have been delivering more than just nightmares for opposing defensive coordinators.

Thompson has rushed for 329 yards and three TDs in the last two games and London, who’s been the top pigskin magnet on the Vikings all year, has caught 22 passes for 286 yards and two TDs in the last three games.

Both have played a integral role in the Graham Wilbert-led offense, but Thompson, I have to say, is the revelation of the two.

London has nearly 800 yards receiving on the season and everybody’s known since his 11-catch effort against Birmingham in Week 3 that he’s one of the most talented receivers in the region.

But Thompson has played phenomenally since taking over the primary running duties from the injured Nick Hale. If he keeps this up, it wouldn’t be a shocker if Valencia reaches the Northern Division finals.

Of course, the Vikings are going to have to get past Marmonte League co-champ Newbury Park in the Northern Division quarterfinals on Friday before they can make plans to play on the Home Depot Center pitch. And, if you’ve seen my predictions, I obviously think the underdog Panthers have more than just a shot in this one.
