The Long Beach Poly football team -- revving high last week at 39 points against Santa Margarita -- should eclipse 40 on Friday night against Newport Harbor.

Sorry, Sailors. But you found some luck last week when you beat Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, which lost star QB Dayne Crist to an injury a week earlier, and now you will face some healthy ‘Rabbits, who should click on eight cylinders all the way to the Pac-5 crown.
