Apparently, Harvard-Westlake’s Nicole Goldhaber does more than help set up some of the most lethal spikers in the Southern Section. She also sings pretty darn good.

The senior setter sang the Star Spangled Banner before the start of her team’s Southern California Regional Division III final showdown with Laguna Beach. And her singing got a lot of the traditional hoots and hollers that usually accompany our national anthem when it’s sung at sporting events.

I wonder if she sings at every game? Maybe someone out there in the blogosphere can help me out with that one since I’m sitting in the visiting bleachers right now.
