The scoreboard says it all at Newbury Park

No big surprises out here at Newbury Park -- Oaks Christian leads Nordhoff, 52-7, heading into the fourth quarter of the Northwest Division final, and it’s just a matter of time before the Lions win their fifth consecutive division title.

Oaks Christian has scored three TDs tonight on runs of 39 yards or more and are taking advantage of Nordhoff mistakes in the second half to pad its already humongous lead.

I knew the Lions were the big favorite in this one, but I really thought Nordhoff would keep the Lions on their toes. Instead, the Oaks Christian subs have played nearly the entire second half and Nordhoff almost seems lost on defense.
