Vaughn Telemaque just intercepted a pass to end Crespi’s first possession. It gave Poly the ball at the 49.

Telemaque jumped up and down. Check out his socks. They’re green-and-white striped. Something you’d expect of the Harlem Globetrotters if their colors were green and white. They attracted the attention of the officials, who spoke to Telemaque before the game.

‘He’s not supposed to wear them,’ the official told Coach Raul Lara. ‘He can’t wear the socks. The emphasis this year is on decorum. He’s drawing attention to himself ... selfish.’

Somehow, Telemaque received a get-out-of-jail card. And he’s going to continue to draw attention to himself if he keeps intercepting passes.’

Hey, speaking of green, I’m wearing my green rain jacket. Teams that wear greenare 4-0 this season -- including St. Bonaventure earlier -- when I’m wearing my green jacket. I’m not sure how much Lara likes me, but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know that I’m doing him a favor.
