Who’s one of the top scorers in the SF Valley/North region, according to Maxpreps.com? Well, Highland senior 6-foot-7 post player Kyisean Reed is averaging 21.8 points and 12.8 rebounds a game this season and is proving with each game that he is perhaps the most gifted scorer in the Antelope Valley.

And Reed has put up these numbers against some pretty tough competition. The Bulldogs opened the season in the competitive Campbell Hall tournament and their only loss in the tourney was to the nationally-ranked Vikings. However, losses to Canyon and Valencia in last week’s Canyon tournament show this team has some things to iron out before it can claim a Golden League title.

Still, with a great scorer, rebounder and shot blocker like Reed leading the way, don’t be surprised if the Bulldogs can climb the Golden League ladder.
