DeRozan’s final basketball campaign starts with victory

The season of dominance has arrived for USC-bound Demar DeRozan -- whom many hoops pundits consider to be the top prep player in the nation.

In the first game of his senior season, DeRozan led Compton to a 71-58 victory over Knight on Tuesday with 38 points, including five three-pointers.

And, of course, the kid squeezed in a couple dunks. ‘Highlight dunks,’ clarified his coach Tony Thomas. ‘I felt sorry for those kids out there.’
