Lakewood St. Joseph water polo plays like nobody’s fool

The Lady Jesters won and won in a wacky way. From roughly 20 yards out, Brenna Roffers scored the tying goal as the first overtime ended. Please note that Roffers is the St. Joseph goalie. Yes, the goalie. ‘Extremely rare for that to happen,’ said St. Joseph Coach Jenny Charlesworth. ‘She just placed it perfectly.’

Roffers also had 10 saves while Macy Kiefer scored the game-winner at the buzzer of the second overtime for St. Joseph (5-3), which beat Loara, 6-5, Tuesday.

So, the Jesters won and that’s no joke.
