Check out this Hawaiian expression... Ka makani ‘olu ‘olu.

It means refreshing or perfect wind. And it sums up the Redondo girls’ basketball team, currently in Hawaii with its perfect 5-0 record. Last night, Atonye Nyingifa had 16 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Sea Hawks to a 44-29 win over Kamehameha to open the Iolani Classic.

Redondo, ranked No. 11 in the preseason by The Times, plays host Iolani today.

So, Sea Hawks... Hana hou.
