It’s starting to get away from Centennial. The Huskies sprang to life with Michael Aguon’s interception to open the third quarter, but a trick play on fourth down backfired on Centennial. Matt Scott walked toward the sideline seeking information, and the ball was snapped directly to Bass, who appeared to not be ready for it.

Maybe Bass bought the act. Maybe Scott’s that good an actor.

But it’s another turnover, another touchdown for De La Salle, which has converted Centennial mistakes into 21 of its 31 points.

This last score was courtesy of a five-yard run by Travis Currie. It’s 31-7 with 7:46 left in the third game. If Centennial doesn’t score next, it’s toast.
