My esteemed colleague who is covering this game for the paper, Dan Arritt, informed me that Centennial was whistled for three penalties in the first quarter, De La Salle none. Now it’s four penalties to none.

The officiating crew is a collection of ‘all-stars’ from around California, but they do not normally work with one another. I hope the game isn’t officiated as if they know who is supposed to win.

But you have to wonder, sometimes. Everybody wants to be Bob Ladouceur’s friend.

Know what I mean?

Centennial just failed to score. Advantage, DLS.
