DeMar DeRozan sank 19 of 20 free throws. Not shabby, right? Actually, superb. DeRozan finished with 31 points, nine in the fourth quarter, and Compton won its Moore League opener, 68-60, over Long Beach Jordan Monday night in boys’ basketball.

Sure, what makes DeRozan thrilling to watch are all the gym-jarring dunks and eye-popping passes. But what makes DeRozan arguably the top-ranked prep player in the galaxy is when he simply steps to the stripe and sinks 19 of 20 in one evening.
