Los Angeles girls basketball coach suffers fatal heart attack

Students, faculty and players of the Los Angeles girls basketball team were stunned by the death of Coach George Robertson because of a heart attack last Friday. He was 39.

Details were still incomplete Tuesday night, but assistant athletic director Terry Williams said school officials named assistant Harmon Franklin as the interim coach.

Funeral services are pending.
