Saxons set tournament scoring record

The Saxons breezed past the century mark in an Ayala tournament pool play game Wednesday night.

North Torrance boys’ basketball team racked up a staggering 106 points -- an all-time tournament record -- beating Kaiser, which scored 58.

What’s most astounding is the Saxons had only one win heading into the game. They’re now 2-5.
