Girls’ Soccer: Foothill League preview on display at Hart Showcase

Well, that didn’t take long -- on only the second day of the Hart Soccer Showcase, the Indians met up with Foothill League foe Golden Valley.

I thought teams generally tried to avoid each other in tournament play, but the Showcase seems to be an exception because Canyon and Valencia have once again decided to play close to home this holiday season. Plus, the Indians and Grizzlies were bound to face each other since they’re in the same pool.

There weren’t any real surprises to come out of the Hart-Golden Valley matchup. Check out what The Signal wrote on the game. I just hope we get to see Hart and Valencia play each other Saturday in what should be a nonleague thriller between two undefeated teams. That’s the only one I care about.
