Props to a tackle machine

Jurrell Casey -- a 6-foot-2, 245-pound defensive lineman for Long Beach Poly football -- made MaxPreps.com’s All-American Defense. Casey had 134 tackles this season, including a 20-tackle bonanza on Sept. 21 against Carson.

He also racked up seven sacks and was one of the big reasons why Poly went 13-1 and won the Southern Section Pac-5 Division title.

He has not committed to a college.
