Scott, Bass and Casey honored as MaxPreps All-Americans

St. Bonaventure senior RB Darrell Scott was named to the MaxPreps All-American Team on Friday after leading the Seraphs to the CIF Division III State Bowl title. Scott and Corona Centennial RB Ryan Bass were the only two players from Southern California to be named first team offense.

Scott rushed for 2,443 yards and 33 TDs this season for the Seraphs and Bass rushed for 2,606 yards and 47 TDs as Centennial advanced to the Division I state bowl game.

Long Beach Poly DL Jurrell Casey was named a first-team defensive All-American by the website after recording 134 tackles and seven sacks for the Pac-5 Division champion Jackrabbits.

Birmingham RB Milton Knox was named a second-team offensive All-American along with Orange Lutheran TE Blake Ayles and Mater Dei OL Khaled Holmes. Long Beach Poly DB Vaughn Telemaque and Dorsey DB Rahim Moore were named second-team defensive All-Americans.
