Two Southland wrestlers will go for their fifth tournament championships of the season this weekend at Corona Santiago’s Shark Tank Invitational.

Estevan Cabanas of Canyon Springs has already taken first place at the El Dorado Invitational, Bishop Amat Classic, West Coast Classic at Rosemead and North Torrance Tournament of Champions. The top seed at 112 pounds, Cabanas will face challenges from Santa Fe’s Dimitri Crouch (first place at the Glenn tournament and second at the Edison Bash) and Knight’s Peter Ceniceros (first at Lancaster’s Eagle Invitational), among others.

Gary Espinosa of Alemany was a champion at the Eagle Invitational, Amat, Brute Inviational at Chino Hills and West Coast Classic. Espinosa is the No. 2 seed at 135 pounds and faces a field that includes six other wrestlers who have won at least one other tournament this season (top-seeded Deandre Taylor of Mojave is one of them).

This looks like a good tournament -- check out all the seeds here.
