Last week, Crespi DB E.J. Woods said he’d make a clear-cut decision about his collegiate plans by Jan. 8, and it appears he’s kept his promise.

The once ‘soft’ UCLA commit told Rivals.com on Thursday that he wants ‘all UCLA alumni and all UCLA fans to know that I’m attending UCLA.’

Wow, there were four UCLAs in that last sentence -- that’s gotta be a record or something.

Anyway, it sounds like Woods will be heading off to Westwood in the fall and it seems like he’s excited about the chance to meet up with new Coach Rick Neuheisel on Saturday when he makes an official visit.

In case you didn’t know, Woods, who was named to The Times’ All-Star Football Team, is one of the most heavily-recruited players in the state. He started at RB and LB/DB for the Pac-5 Divisional finalist Celts.
