Funny how people crawl under a rock when things stop going their way.

The person responsible for reporting the boys’ basketball scores at Corona Centennial must’ve had our prep line on speed dial while the Huskies were winning 19 of their first 21 games. Now that they’ve lost two straight, the stat guy has pulled a Criss Angel.

Not only are the scores from Centennial’s losses Monday to Canyon Springs and Tuesday to Corona not listed on our web site, but as of 2 p.m. Wednesday, the team has no statistics from those games listed on MaxPreps.com. Funny how every one of its other games has stats.

Nothing irritates me more than folks who quit calling in scores after they lose. At least I bounced you guys from our top 25 this week. When you start winning again, here’s our e-mail address: stats@latimes.com.
