The San Fernando Valley has produced a plentiful crop of Major League Baseball players over the years and it looks like at least a few of them are going to be in the same place on Thursday. That’s because former Crespi standout and current Milwaukee Brewers starter Jeff Suppan is holding a private celebration of his new restaurant, ‘Soup’s Grill,’ in Woodland Hills on Thursday.

Former Calabasas coach and two-time Cy Young Award winner Bret Saberhagen, NL Rookie of the Year Ryan Braun, Angels outfielder Gary Matthews Jr. and Brewers owner Mark Attanasio are among the distinguished guests who are scheduled to plop down in authentic Busch Stadium seats. Unfortunately, this summit of baseball stars over chili-cheese fries and wings is a private affair, so no autographs or rehashing of recent baseball headlines, please!

But, if you’re looking for a baseball-themed, family-oriented restaurant, ‘Soup’s Grill’ should be you’re thing. Check this out to find out more info on the place and to see how many flat-screen televisions the former NLCS MVP has in his new place.
