It’s good to see pretty much everybody on Arroyo Grande rebounded from their loss to Atascadero on Friday. Thanks to nine different players scoring, the Eagles flew back toward reconciliation with a critical 55-38 victory over San Luis Obispo on Tuesday.

Wesleigh Chriss scored an out-of-nowhere 12 points to lead the way for a team that isn’t really used to seeing one player control the scoring reigns. Of course, the lack of any statistical hero really hasn’t hurt Arroyo Grande.

Sara Caywood, Kelsey Wagner and Maddie Franklin are averaging between eight and seven ppg and are proving you don’t need a 20-point scorer to win every night.

Still, it’s not over, yet. The Eagles should have a pretty easy road to the postseason and their Feb. 5 game against Righetti is the only potential speed bump. If they get past the Warriors for a second time, it’ll be time for a title party.
