The Vista Murrieta football team took a road trip to Western Colorado back in September and handed host Grand Junction a 30-6 loss.

That must have impressed the coaching staff at Mesa State, a Division II football program located in Grand Junction, because three members of the Broncos, defensive backs Adrian Abreu, Tajh Walker and defensive lineman Shane Glover, committed to the Mavericks.

Another Vista Murrieta defensive lineman, Jake Carr, committed to New Mexico last month.

Still hard to believe Vista Murrieta quarterback Kavon Seaton hasn’t locked anything up. I have a feeling he’s holding out for something better than Mesa State or New Mexico.
