Redland’s undefeated season is ended by REV

The Redlands East Valley boys’ basketball team walked into the gymnasium at crosstown rival Redlands on Wednesday night, ran the undefeated and 14th-ranked Terriers up and down the floor and walked out with an 83-72 victory.

Thanks for coming.

That said, I’m not sure anybody expected to see this result.

The Prep-dog admitted he wasn’t there. Even the Redlands Daily Facts, which, by my count, has two schools to cover, didn’t have reporter on hand, instead relying on this over-the-phone version.

Me? I was planning to scrounge for more players to add to our college commitment list, but when Editor Bob reported that most of the file that took us two months to create was now missing .... I finished up a women’s basketball feature.
