Huh? No Southland volleyball player on esteemed list

This left me flabbergasted.

The American Volleyball Coaches Assn. named its high school senior All-American Girls’ Team on Friday and not one Southland star made the 32-player list.

No joke. Or maybe that’s what the list is ... a joke.

Seriously, how is this possible since the Southland’s volleyball courts could be argued as the most talent-rich ones in the nation, maybe the world?
