Top-seeded Taft is showing no signs of overconfidence in its opening game of the City Section boys’ basketball playoffs.
Bryce Smith made five three-pointers in the first quarter and had 17 points to help Taft take a 33-8 lead over Manual Arts. It’s now 45-12 and I’ve just about had enough.
You can put Taft down for a spot in the Championship Division final at the Sports Arena.
