City semifinals: Is Galen Center a test run?

The decision to play the City Section Championship Division semifinal games at USC’s Galen Center might not be a one-time thing.

There is interest in the City Section office to go back to playing the semis in neutral sites, rather than the home gym of the higher seeded team.

Some of that might depend on how well things run Friday night.

One thing was already in evidence: before fans and media could enter the arena, all were searched by security personnel.
