Feel like I’m forgetting something... wait, it’s props for St. Paul

Some would say my forgetfulness is an adorable personality quirk. Others, like all my ex-girlfriends, would say it’s a blatant, unforgivable character defect.

For the sake of this blog, I will not forget to dole out all the necessary props to the St. Paul Swordsmen, whose season ended Wednesday night in the second round of the Southern Section Division III-AA girls’ basketball playoffs.

I cannot forget to point out that the Swordsmen took a tough team, Marlborough, into overtime before losing last night. I also cannot forget to note that the Swordsmen finished the year 14 games over .500. And, most of all, I cannot forget to mention that the Swordsmen nabbed the Camino Real League crown this season with a pristine 8-0 record.

There, take that, ex-girlfriends -- I wasn’t forgetful at all. Now, if only I could remember my new girlfriend’s birth date.
