Two of the best boys’ basketball players this season, Larry Drew Jr. of Taft and Jordan Hamilton of Dominguez, have younger brothers ready to move into the high school ranks next season.

Landon Drew and Isaac Hamilton will be freshman point guards next September. Landon is expected to end up at Taft. Isaac, who’s 6 foot tall, could attend a City Section school.

‘He shoots better than Jordan,’ Hamilton’s father, Greg, said.

There’s another Drew and another Hamilton behind them. Daniel Hamilton is a 12-year-old seventh-grader. Drew’s brother, Lindsey, is also a guard. So get ready for Drews and Hamiltons to be starring at the prep level in Southern California for the next eight years.
