Campbell Hall and Holiday are a lock for the state title

I’ve covered a lot of basketball games over the last eight years and I can honestly say Campbell Hall’s 85-22 blowout over Rosamond on Tuesday night was the most-lopsided contest I’ve ever witnessed. The way Jrue Holiday & Co. totally dominated was kind of like watching the Harlem Globetrotters vs. the Generals (except no on-court ladders were involved).

Anyway, let me be the first to make the bold prediction (yeah right!) that Campbell Hall will successfully defend its Divisional IV state title in a little less than two weeks from now. No one has a chance against next season’s UCLA starter and his crew.

Speaking of Holiday, here he is in all his post-game glory:

Also, here’s how Holiday scored his first six of his game-high 26 points. He would of had more, but when you hold you opponent to 16 percent shooting from the floor, you can be happy with hitting your average scoring marks. Holiday is the guy in the #21 jersey.
