After a quick pow-wow between the Campbell Hall coaching staff and reporters on Tuesday night, we figured out Jrue Holiday was within striking distance of setting a San Fernando Valley career scoring record. And after Thursday night’s 20-point performance against Garces, the UCLA-bound Holiday is 58 points away from breaking former Oakwood standout and NBA player Mitchell Butler‘s 19-year-old mark of 2,682 points. So...

Feel free to use the comment board if you want to elaborate, and, yes -- I feel it’s pretty safe assuming the Vikings will beat Fresno San Joaquin Memorial in the Southern California regional Division IV finals at 7 p.m. Saturday at Mater Dei.
