Girls’ basketball: It’s overtime for Ayala and Mira Costa

With 16.9 seconds left, Megan Richardson was going to be the one to give Mira Costa the victory. She dribbled down the clock while guarded by Brianna Beridon, headed to her left and leaned into the basket. The ball, however, rolled off the rim, and sent the Southern California Regional Division II final against Ayala into overtime.

The score is tied at 50-50, and they will play four minutes to try to decide it. The momentum is with Mira Costa -- it scored the last four points.
