Narbonne strolled into the the Sports Arena about 4:35 p.m., moving slow and easy for its 6 p.m. Southern California Regional final against Long Beach Poly. The winner will play for the girls’ Division I state title next Saturday in Sacramento.

Coach Victoria Sanders wants the Gauchos to have a similar pace against the Jackrabbits.

‘I don’t think we can run with them,’ Sanders said. ‘So we have to slow it down. I don’t mean stall, but play methodical.
