OK, so things didn’t turn out as planned for Bishop Montgomery in its Southern California Regional Division III title game against Santa Margarita.

The main culprit? How about the Eagles’ ability to hold down a Bishop Montgomery offense that averaged more than 67 ppg this season to under 40. Still, the Knights shouldn’t hang their heads -- after all, they won the Southern Section Division II-AA title and pulled off a huge victory on Thursday over Central Section power Hanford.
