Cartwright shares his thoughts on Dominguez’s victory

With all the reporters huddled around Jordan Hamilton like he was some sort of god, I decided to have a quick chat with Dominguez guard Bryce Cartwright following the Dons’ 83-74 Southern California Regional Division I championship victory over King on Saturday.

I know Hamilton was the star of the show, but Cartwright’s 16 points, three assists and three steals definitely came in handy against a resilient King squad that managed to stay in the hunt until the last four or five minutes. Plus, I wasn’t the only one who noticed the senior’s contributions -- some Sports Arena security guard kept on bugging me for stats on him while I was working on deadline.
