During my 14 hours at the Sports Arena on Saturday, I managed to attend the Southern California Regional division championship news conferences that were conducted after each game in what seemed to be some sort of Cold War-era interrogation room.

And because I forced myself to suck down the impromptu press room’s stale air while burning two AA batteries in the process, I’m going to post all of my press conference videos whether you like it or not.

First up, we’ve got girls’ Division III champion Magnolia, which escaped with a 40-39 victory over a Muir squad it had lost to in December. It was great watching these girls play in a really competitive game against a worthy opponent. However, Magnolia is going to have to play its best game of the season on Saturday if it has any chance at beating undefeated San Francisco Sacred Heart Cathedral for the state title.
