Remember two weeks, that one blog about Josh Nunes.... You know, the 6-foot-4 junior quarterback from Upland who was beginning to emerge as a legitimate NCAA Division I football prospect after picking up his fourth scholarship offer. Well, you can add another team to his growing list of suitors.

Thursday morning, Utah joined Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, San Diego St. and Stanford as interested schools. Unofficial trips to Boise St., BYU and Oregon are scheduled to take place over the next couple of weeks, if all goes according to plan, of course. ‘I can’t wait,’’ Nunes said.

He visited UCLA last weekend and Cal and Notre Dame have also expressed interest. My guess is, this whole recruiting process is just beginning for Nunes. So be prepared, we’re going to be hearing plenty more about him in the days, weeks and months to come.
