Jordan Farmar Classic to debut in December

The Jordan Farmar Tipoff Classic, named after former Taft guard and current Laker Jordan Farmar (pictured) will debut the first week of December at Taft High, Toreador Coach Derrick Taylor said Saturday.

Division V state runner-up Renaissance Academy is one of the first schools to commit to playing in the boys’ basketball tournament. Compton Dominguez also is considering joining the event.
