Jasmine Dixon, the Gatorade State player of the year for California, looks like it. The Long Beach Poly guard/forward -- who is playing more guard in this game and will probably do the same at Rutgers -- made a nice reverse layup, assisted on another, and just popped in a 15-footer to give the West a 67-45 lead with 7:46 left in the girls’ McDonald’s All-American game in Milwaukee.

I read somewhere, maybe HoopGurlz.com, that the East was the favorite in this game. The East has all the height, the West has all the guards. Just goes to prove my theory that high school girls’ basketball is won with guards.
