Long Beach Poly’s Jasmine Dixon just got fouled -- well, knocked off her feet in a head-on collision at midcourt by an opponent who appeared to be 50 pounds her senior, is more like it -- in the McDonald’s All-American girls’ game at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

And Marlborough’s Nikki Speed followed by throwing a two-handed pass backward, over her head, that went for an assist while she was airborne -- my description doesn’t do her feat justice, but my guess is you’ll see this highlight on ESPN often tonight -- to put the West up, 43-33, which is how the half ended.
