Baseball: Saugus hazing allegations found to be untrue

Apparently, allegations of hazing and abuse have been swirling around the Saugus baseball team this spring, but Coach John Maggiora has been cleared of any wrongdoing, writes Gerry Gittelson of the Daily News.

Saugus AD Kevin Miner said the allegations were investigated and found out to be untrue. He told the Daily News a ‘disgruntled parent’ circulated an anonymous letter leveling accusations against Maggiora and his staff. Maggiora classified the allegations as possibly stemming from ‘playing-time issues.’
