A monsoon is a prevailing wind, which goes on and on and on.

Now, the Monsoons of Mayfair recently beat Bellflower after a second-inning rally, which went on and and on and on. Mayfair scored seven runs in the second and ended up winning, 8-7.

This victory was surely noted by not just the uber-talented Buccaneers but the entire Suburban League, which should turn into one of the most thrilling races in the Southland. The league crown could be won by a slew of squads, including Mayfair (3-1 in league) Bellflower (1-1), La Mirada (2-0) or Glenn (4-0).

We’ll keep our eye on this chase.
