Surfing: Locals selected for trip to France

Surfing America announced its junior athletes named to the USA Surf team that will travel to France next month for the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships, and several locals made the cut.

Making the under 18 boys’ team were Dillon Perillo from Malibu, Dane Zaun from Hawthorne and Chase Wilson from Newport Beach. On the under 16 boys’ team are Andrew Doheny from Newport Beach, Conner Coffin from Santa Barbara, Kolohe Andino from San Clemente and Luke Davis from Capistrano Beach.

On the 18 girls’ team are Courtney Conlogue from Santa Ana and Demi Boelsterli from Santa Barbara.
