The South Coast League has lost its appeal to leave the Pac-5 Division for the football playoffs. A Southern Section appeals committee rejected the argument that the league’s recent poor showing in the playoffs should result in its being moved to a weaker playoff division.

In girls’ volleyball, the Montview League won its appeal and will be put in Division IV-A instead of IV-AA.
