Area ballplayers keep unveiling their college commitments...

According to Crespi’s team web site, third baseman Travis Forbes, pictured left, and outfielder Jake Dahlstrum, right, have committed to San Diego. Check here for updated team statistics.

The Celts begin an important two-game series with St. Francis on Tuesday and it’ll be interesting to see if they can stay within striking distance of Notre Dame heading into next week’s showdown with the Knights.
