It was tough trying to figure out what team would go in what spot in my rankings this week, so be sure to use the comment board if you feel the urge to disagree -- or agree. Also, I’m really looking forward to Simi Valley-Thousand Oaks: Part III on Thursday.

  1. Simi Valley (21-0, 8-0) -- Can the Pioneers go undefeated into the playoffs?
  2. Hart (15-3, 5-0) -- Pitcher Destiny Rodino has surrendered only one earned run in the last 10 games.
  3. Valencia (18-5, 3-1) -- Vikings looking to regroup after tough week.
  4. Thousand Oaks (15-3, 7-1) -- Jackie Manzer sporting a 0.73 ERA with five shutouts over a 7-2 record.
  5. Camarillo (14-5, 5-0) -- Scorpions will win another Pacific View League title.
  6. Royal (10-10, 5-3) -- Rough ride against quality teams in the Corona Santiago tournament.
  7. Agoura (10-9, 3-5) -- Has lost four of its last six games despite strong performances against Simi Valley and TO.
  8. Westlake (8-8, 2-6) -- Are the Warriors for real? We’ll find out Tuesday vs. TO.
  9. Burbank (15-1, 6-1) -- Enjoying the Pacific breeze until Crescenta Valley visits April 30.
  10. Moorpark (10-7, 4-4) -- A victory over Simi Valley would be the perfect cure for a three-game slide.

Close, but not quite: Oxnard,Newbury Park, Rio Mesa, Chaminade
